Branson has been an active early-stage investor in the blockchain ecosystem since 2013. He has invested in many of the premier teams in the crypto space as Managing Director of his family office, Bollinger Investment Group. During that time, he developed Blockwire, a crypto news aggregator, and worked in product development and strategy for NEBO, his family-owned consumer products business, before it was acquired in 2017. Prior to that, he founded Prsona, the first company to automate the contract staffing process.
Prior to Bollinger Investment Group, Austin worked at CipherTrace, where he was a part of the investigations team. He is also a part-time researcher at Galleon, an up-and-coming decentralized exchange (DEX) for retail crypto traders. Austin received his Bachelor of Science in Economics (Finance and Marketing concentrations) from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
